Well, I read the Vanderbilt coach thing to DH. He finds no correlation between recruiting HS boys and recruiting spouses. He expects it has to do with scoping out potential monkey business with his assistants' wives. So, eeeewwwww.

Beau's sister works for the federal government. Supposedly in an innocuous branch of the government, but she made a hush hush trip overseas awhile ago. Anyway, we are convinced all of us have been background checked and probably have FBI files - if we did not already.

I review grants funded by federal agencies, so I'm sure I have already bored an FBI agent to death.

It was a judgement declared instantly and in a matter-of-fact tone. Well, he knows a lot more coaches than I do.

I don't really have an opinion on Edwards. I never cared for him much and will be pleased if this means he is on my tv screen less now. His kids certainly don't deserve this level of attention.

I didn't think I had any to lose. I absolutely loathed him as my senator, when it was entirely clear that he was only representing himself and wouldn't lift a finger to, you know, actually vote if it meant taking a position on anything at all that might constitute an actual record in the presidential run it was completely obvious he was prepping for. I never bought his fake-populist bullshit given his previous big-money politics. The very sight of him absolutely makes my flesh crawl, and has from the day he popped up on the scene.

And yet? I lost respect for him in this trial.

Oh yeah, I would think if the trial was based on his personal behavior the verdict would have been swift and unanimous. The actual legal stuff they were deciding was more complex and I wasn't interested enough to study the facts.

Since I have been working at home today (twisted knee) I have been wasting more time reading news stuff. After reading local interviews with face-eating dude in Miami's girlfriend and mother I feel bad for joking about the incident. I had first heard about it from my aunt that works as a nurse at a local hospital. They were sent warnings after the event. Don't know what happened there, but clearly something very bad.

Working on an abuse team, I tend to forget how far down a dark rabbit hole we can get. Because we kinda just took a new team member down there and blew his mind when we turned on the flashlight.
