Yay, S!
Theo, I always tip 20% for that kind of thing, so I'd do $9.

People are floundering again. I am not supposed to be the motivated plan-ahead one in the group. But I'm frustrated by how non-committal people are being in face of troubleshooting.
Like, people are talking to each other, and no one is listening, but then again, you've been sent the document twice today--why are you still looking for it. Good god, the cross-purposes are an arrow to the knee.
I second the 20%. Though I have a really hard time the few times it's been a haircut I hate, because I don't want to NOT tip, and be That Girl but I also don't want to reward a bad haircut....and usually I'm all emo by that point anyway and get flustered and tip like, 15%. Which is stupid, when I hate the haircut....
I think I tipped something like 30% the last time I got my haircut, but the girl did more for me than all the previous cutters--got out books to look for ideas and actually had advice and asked clear questions about what to do with that stuff on my head.
I wonder if I should go back to having my hair profssionally cut. Except for the wig stylist at th opera, who they flew in from NY and cut my hair dry, with a razor, I have never really been happy with any professional cut I have ever had, so I cut my own. It rally only looks good if I style it, though, which I do not always have tme to do.
am having a nibbled to death y ducks day, ending with my credit card being refused at the grocery store, not because it was declined, but because it wouldn't swipe. It is "against policy" to key in the numbers because they need a "hard copy". Which would not be that annoying if I had another form of payment with me, and it did not waste an hour and a half of my time because I take the bus. Also, no I have to defrost something and cook.

You should probably find another stylist on Yelp that's good with a razor. Sounds like your hair responds well to a razor cut. It's pretty thick, right?
I ran out of internet. That hasn't happened in a long time.
Amy, there's always [link] ETA: Hmmmm, that's not the site I used to spend all night reading. But I don't think it was the Smoking Gun? And now I shall spend working hours trying to track down my rabbit hole site.
ETA: I think this is the site. Hours wasted here, man. [link]
I'm going to guess the Tru TV site?
Ha! x-post! YEP!
