Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Everywhere but there hurts, so I'm calling that a win. I just left the message for the doctor that I want the full procedure, so hopefully that can be arranged by next week, maybe. And this time I'll be certain to take extra PTO so I don't bother anyone by requesting it at the last minute.

Because books.

Jury duty! I see jurors all the time since we live literally two blocks from the county courthouse. I also see sheriff's cars and county prison vans ...

hopefully that can be arranged by next week

Fingers crossed.

Yay for the nerve block!

I can no longer see the images on the good stuff tumbler from work. sad making. that was a bright spot on my day. boo work.

I never could see them: tumblr is completely blocked at work. Oddly enough, I can now get to LJ again (but not to DW), even if I can't read my flist.

In better news, I may have managed to convince my mother to accept more help around the house. Of course, since she is demented, she's going to forget having done so. ::sigh::

One step at a time, Consuela. If she wrote herself a note, maybe on the calendar, would that help any?

Still hanging in the assembly room. No wi-fi. Boo.

she should tattoo herself with notes, just sayin.

My brother and I were discussing last night that we may hit the trifecta in out family: mac in puberty, me in menapause, one of the parents in dementia. My brother said that would just leave him with addiction and that probably would be his only response.

I know it shouldn't, but that made me laugh. The family that dysfunctions together ... ?

oh it should make you laugh. My brother gives me so much financial assitance, that I have told him to call me when he needs an organ. His response has been that he will just want to die should he get to that (it should be noted that he is the healthiest of all of us), so I've offered to administer the drugs. We are nothing if not grimly supportive.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know it shouldn't, but that made me laugh.

Made me laugh!

And honestly, if you don't have that ...

I watched the season finale of Glee earlier, and now I have mild crying hangover. Stupid show.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Made me laugh too! That really is the trifecta, but won't mac be in puberty before you're in menopause?

I want to put my head down on the desk and sleep. Do not want today even a little. Please to make it better.
