Well, and if you were down the street, I'd swing by and try it on--it might fit. But likely enough it wouldn't. (Though apropos of nothing, I must say, apparently Calvin Klein dresses are pretty darn close to my ideal fit. Maybe an inch bigger in the hips would be better, and a smidge smaller in the bust, but...)

Cows crash party, help themselves to beer
Ha. We had a little rural bovine adventure the other day ourselves. There was a big (okay, for us, maybe six cars) traffic jam, and when we could see, we realized it was because there were three cowboys on horses with their dogs trying to round up cattle and move them across the highway. Most of them went fine, but there was one recalcitrant calf who clearly hadn't done this before and was not very happy about it. It was super cute. We were all "Don't see that every day...unless you're us," about it.

That's been my experience, too: I have three CK dresses, and they fit me very well.
Hmm. Anyone else having trouble getting to Google?
Google's fine for me.
I went shopping and scored $20 dress pants at Ann Taylor that fit really nicely in my first ten minutes. And then spent the next 2 hours in consumer despair. Nordstrom Rack was the worst. Who WEARS those drapey things, and why don't they have any PANTS?
Unfortunately the dress pants don't go with either of my blazers, but still! $20!
Even though I'm not religious, I love this photo from my parents' wedding:
Also, note how huge my dad's hands are--way bigger than mine, and with much thicker fingers too.

Aaaaaaaalllll the faux-hemian hipsters of Seattle, and they wear leggings instead. I personally know maybe three people that the drapey things look good on, everyone else looks like the return rack at a thrift store decided to go for a walk.
I theoretically like drapey and leggings! Comfortable and loungey.
I don't look good in it. I'm more of a wrap dress sort of person.
This is cool if you like this sort of thing:
Pictures: World War II "Time Capsule" Fighter Found in Sahara
Recently discovered in Egypt by an oil-exploration team, a World War II fighter plane called "the aviation equivalent of Tutankhamun's tomb" bears the scars of 70 years in the Sahara desert—but is nevertheless considered to be in "time capsule" condition.
"I've never seen anything like it," said Ian Thirsk, head of collections at the Royal Air Force (RAF) Museum in London. The Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawk is "the best preserved example of a Second World War aircraft I've seen for many, many years."
The plane's pilot is thought to have been Flt. Sgt. Dennis Copping, though no trace of his body has been found at the crash site.
Some cool pictures.
