I'm so used to weirded out cow skulls, that one doesn't ping me too much.
Because I'm sure you all want and need an update. TWO chairs: [link]
Can't wait to replace my tv with a flatscreen that I can put somewhere else. I'd eventually like to rearrange this room, but it works for now.
Yay two chairs!
Why does megafauna creep me out so much?
You saw that enormous bat on Tumblr the other day? YIKES.
My family took a drive to the beach this evening, and it is crazy how much my grandmother, mother, and I are all beach people. We were all like, "Ahhhhhhh" as soon as we got there. We just looked at the water for like a half hour and then came home, but it was lovely. I can't wait for it to be hot enough for me to actually go to the beach! (There were people in the water today, but I think they are a little nuts.)
Hivemind:
I am in need of pictures of fat men wearing suits in the 1910's and 1920's. My google-fu is failing me, and I am sick of looking at men in suits!
Seattle-istas, my neighbor is going on quilting cruise to Alaska and will have about a day and a half in Seattle at the end of the week before all the happy little stitchers get on the boat. She'll be staying at the Sheraton downtown. I told her I'd ask for recommendations for restaurants nearby. She is a woman in her 70s of decided opinions. Her food tastes are pretty wide ranging. Italian is probably her favorite. She doesn't do hot food in the spicy sense. She's not a beer drinker. She'll be eating all three meals out, and she's fond of breakfast food.
Also, there's the question of what to do if you only have a day in Seattle. I said Pike Place Market, which is where I went on my only day in Seattle, but is there anything else you can suggest?

I shall offer this: [link] It's a former Prime Minister of Australia, photo taken in 1915.
William Howard Taft: notably fat man who was frequently photographed in suits. [link] (Also, Cincinnatian.)
Here you go, Sophia, President Taft.
