The other day as I was leaving work, a woman in a business suit got into the elevator, looked at me, and said "you are so lucky you get to dress comfortably at work".
My office building is where all the Clear Channel radio stations broadcast from, so I *know* I am not the scruffiest person in the building. There's never any doubt that you're on the elevator with a Clear Channel person.
Good god, Steph. That sounds like classic dehydration. Make sure you hydrate today!
I eventually was able to keep water and dinner down yesterday, so I got some hydration back in me, and I will definitely be hydrating all day today, since it's supposed to be goddamn 96 and humid and we have to go to a birthday party -- outdoors -- for Tim's dad BEFORE the wedding. (I will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt and then changing into the dress before we leave. No fool, me.)
I have military and an oil company with field workers in my building, so I'm never going to be the most comfortably dressed one in the elevator.
Praise all gods for 10-20% humidity in high summer.
I actually do have a style, it's just fairly boring. But I like it!
This is me! Mostly black, grey, and navy with the occasional pop of color. I like a simple outfit with a fabulous accessory.

I have never understood why this was an issue. If your clothes are uncomfortable, find ones that aren't. The one exception was pantyhose in the summer, but now that hose are no longer a professional requirement, I don't see the problem.
I love that I can wear jeans when I go into the office.
CJ is off to his first day of work at his summer job - working the concession stand at the local pool. Sounds like the perfect job for a 15 year old boy, right?
I like different things so I end up never knowing which direction to go in. Although I've taken more chances, when I go clothes shopping I attempt to try on at least 1 thing I like but isn't "my style". Occasionally I'll get something that looks good on me and sometimes it's too outside my "comfort" zone.
I have tried on dozens of dresses this weekend that were not my usual thing, and none of them worked! But I did try.
My problems with style stem from not being able to come to terms with my weight. I'm larger than I've ever been in my life and can't seem to lose anything. I have this image in my mind of me as a thinner person, so when I see myself in the mirror I can't reconcile the body I see with the body I think I should have.
I have 2 red chairs now!
I think I'm going to be lazy the rest of the day now.
