Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Remember that brand-new HVAC system I had installed a couple months ago? Today, my air conditioner quit working. Came home from hot sweaty errand running to discover the house is 74degF and climbing, despite that the system insists itself is on and working. HVAC dude will be here, grudgingly, in an hour. Please send me a little ~ma that he'll be able to fix it immediately.

Unrelatedly, when did folder take over and become a proper synonym for directory?

In my own world, when I realized my boss does not know what a "directory" is unless she's holding a phone book.

I'm now glad that I decided not to watch Awake after the premiere episode. I had a feeling I wasn't going to enjoy the rest as much as I did that one.

Art Crawl!!!

If only they could have gone in the science fiction direction with Awake.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Indeed. Oh well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just bought a dress for one of the two wedding celebrations I have next month. I'm not totally sold on it, but it was on sale, and I can always bring it back. I wish I could tell how fancy the one will be and how casual the other will be!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm too far behind on too many shows. I just finished a Supernatural mini-marathon to finish the season, but now I need to watch episodes in the order that they expire. It may be a few weeks before I get to the end of Awake.

My twitter feed has been amusing this afternoon with Seamus and Juliana Dever livetweeting the Eurovision finals.

Try turning off the cooling and leaving the fan running, zenkitty. The odds are something has iced up.

Fan doesn't seem to be doing anything either. There's barely a breeze coming out of the vents. It's now 76degF. HVAC Dude is here. May he rescue me.

Man, I get CRANKY when it's hot.

brillig

50 degrees in Utah, for what it's worth. Mid 80's by the end of next week.

Wow. It's pretty darn warm here. And seems kind of breezeless. This is annoying because a good breeze would help things no end.

Sorry I didn't explain, Zen. Running the fan will make it thaw faster, if that's the problem.
