Man, that season was asstastic.
But asses are good, right? Rectums are yucky, I'll give you that. Anus? Right out.
I still prefer S6 to S5.

Also, in other news....
This week, we put an offer on a house that we probably won't get because it's a short sale (misnomer!) and we still have to move at the end of June. Also, Grace had surgery but is still sporting a trach to our dismay. I had three meetings after work (one a day) that dealt with stuff above my pay grade but on my plate (sorry for the mixed metaphor). Had to meet with another mortgage broker just to see if the first guy wasn't gouging us. Missed two nights of sleep due to being unable to swallow or having the across-the-street neighbors moving out at 2:00 AM. Noah has also had a billion potty accidents in the past two weeks.
Had a meeting today with the the manager of the nursing provider we use. They've had massive bad staff turnover (and a giant settlement with the DoJ). We love our LVN though so have tolerated the provider. Well, our LVN told us that Friday is her last day due to personal stuff and she's moving to Palm Springs. FUCK. Want to cry. Grace and Noah both love her. When I told Noah about it after I picked him up, he was so upset and sad.
Please universe, please be nice. I have not only spoon issues but also all of other cutlery too.
Oh, Kat, what a load of trouble to deal with all at once. I'm sorry.
Awww, Kat, you must be feeling besieged.
Though having been through some stressful times I can tell you in hindsight that Noah's potty accidents aren't happening on the same plane as the other stuff. They just feel As Stressful right now.
And losing Beloved Child Providers seems super stressful for the parents, but ultimately young kids have a fairly short memory for that stuff as long as the home-life feels stable. Those people kind of come and go in their lives. You're grateful for the good ones (and they can have a big impact) but they are in constant transition and the young kids have short memories.

Ugh Kat, I'm sorry that you've been handed such a load of suck. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Just dropped D off at the airport for 6 days in PA. M's 10th bday. A little sad, but I'll be all right.
Doesn't a Buffista live in Fountain Hill now, in case he needs ER extraction? (crosses fingers this visit as as stress-free as can be for him.)
ION, the pool opens here today, and I am wearing a two piece (that's not a tankini) for the first time in...ever. Ok, then.
Which reminds me, shave legs.
Which reminds me, shave legs.
Yours, or...?
Mine...and I guess, anyone else's in the shower with me and ma razor.
CATS BEWARE.
Even before you pull out your razor, a cat in the shower is having a very bad day.
