So, I'm re-reading
Harriet the Spy,
and two things: One is that everything I thought I remembered about Harriet is actually from
The Long Secret.
The other is that Harriet and Sally Draper are about the same age, since
Harriet
was written in 1964, and she's 11.
So there's that.
Revenge: The finale wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be, but did they really just
kill Victoria? Or will we find out next season that she wasn't really on that plane. And would the newscasters really be told who was on the plane before the relatives could be notified?
Revenge:
no WAY was Victoria on that plane! No way.
Can I just say that I really really really want Uma Thurman to play the mother. I desperately want a Kill Bill callback in this show. And this is the way to do it. Seriously. We have the sensei. This can be done ABC. Do it
.
Revenge: le nubian
that is a brilliant idea. I did get reminded of Kill Bill a few times while watching this show.
Do you think
the daughter is dead? And do you think that Emily's mother is going to be a big bad next season? They seemed to be implying that she was one of the senior partners in this whole conspiracy.
sj,
no WAY
is the daughter dead.
The only person who
might be dead is the mistress who should have died from the taxicab bounce months ago. She kind of doesn't serve a purpose right now.
I hope that
the mother is the "big bad" ala "Alias." That would be some good soapy mess. I also hope Jack's girlfriend gives birth to a half-Japanese baby because I will DIE laughing if the sensei has been messing around.
le nubian,
faux-Amanda seems way too pregnant for it to be Jack's. There is no way there isn't something fishy going on there. I completely forgot about the mistress being on the plane. She's such a blah character for me, I don't really care what happens to her either way.
sj,
right?
homegirl looked like her water was about ready to break. You are probably right that it isn't the sensei's either.
To my significant disappointment.
le nubian,
the sensei idea is amusing though.
Revenge: I noticed that the
news report didn't say anything about Victoria's body being found, just that her name was on the passenger manifest. I, as usual, do not care for the conspiracy angle, but "Amanda" being pregnant and Mama Clarke being alive are both pretty delicious.
seriously delicious.
the conspiracy angle
is a red hot mess that hasn't made a whole lot of sense from the beginning.
