You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

My favorite gallery in Ellicott City is changing hands. I just wrote the current owner a mash note, I guess. I loved that space, the art, the displays. She had stuff I wasn't ever gonna buy, but I loved seeing displayed. From there, I got my bat skulls, a bird skull oil and lots of thinking.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I shall continue to be me!

Yay!

Actual conversation at trivia last night in our discussion of what to call the team this week.

Other Team Member: It's World Goth Day. How about something about emo girl and...

Me, interrupting: Emo and Goth are not the same thing.

OTM: They're about the same.

Me: I know Jilli of Gothic Charm School, and they're not the same. We're not saying emo.

OTM: How will she know? Will she sense it through the ether?

Me: Yes.

We ended up: "Is Happy Goth Day an Oxymoron?" Happy Emo Day would work better, but it was not World Emo Day.

I realized the other day when Hec was talking about their anniversary that I've been playing trivia with Bicyclops and friends for 8 years.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

TWITTER OF SWINTON. (SWITTER OF TWINTON?)

(Not actually Twitter of SWINTON.)

Every 3 months I give birth to myself again. I emerge from my birth canal while my current body deflates. My wisdom carries on.

What a curse! No animal has limbs of length to embrace the proud elephant. An unhuggable behemoth plods forth.

@alisonbrie I hope your show survives. The chicken must learn to run without its head. And when it does, how instinctual!

Ha!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, now that I've finished bonding with invisible people about my cup size, I tried the NotTilda, and I'm really dizzy now.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So there's this play I want to go to: [link]

'suela - go. With or without Goldstar. I know those guys, I auditioned for that production (damned "making a living", interfering with my artistic life), and you will not regret it. It is so very worth it.

Consuela, let me know if you start making plans! I really wish I'd been able to see Hamlet on Alcatraz.

Hah! Thanks, one of my book club pals is going in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to tag along with her. I'm stoked!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I want to know more about that production. I'll expect a full report.

Avon has been winning a war of attrition on the 7 am feeding time. Monday morning I was started awake at 4:15 or so and he was standing on the edge of the bed, STARING AT ME.

When Petri started doing that I had to become very strict about making him wait for the alarm (and strict with myself about setting an alarm and actually get up). It was hilarious when I woke up before the alarm one day to see him staring down the alarm clock.
