Our cat will yowl at you if he needs food. But as for feeding--approx once a day. Whenever he empties his bowl. (sometimes he yowls and I'm like "hey, you made a mess, but there's still food on the floor even if the bowls empty. Talk to me when you're starving").

Miss Kitty was an indoor/outdoor cat before we moved to Colorado. I've been impressed with the way she adapted to being indoors only. Neither of them dart for the door.
Gracie was an outdoor cat until she got old and decided that she wasn't.
Cortez was a stray when he adopted us, so obviously an outdoor car. But he had already been fixed and all, so he was a pet at some point. Since we moved here, though, he refuses to go except after dark. Which is fine with me, as long as he doesn't start sucking my blood.
Oh my gosh, such drama llama at t-ball! Got an email last night saying practice today was optional and would be coached by the asst coach. Okay, sounds good. Got a call this am from the coach terribly upset that she cancelled practice but then found out that some of us were planning on having practice anyway!! How could people turn on her this way?!? My reaction was kinda WTF but I was very gentle with her saying I didn't know anything about the parents going around her back, but that I'd heard practice was optional, and that I myself liked the idea of more practice for my son's rather weak skills. Oy!
What kind of coach complains about the kids wanting to go to practice just because she doesn't want to do it, especially given that asst coach has agreed to coach for the day? But she was turning it all into some kind of narrative of betrayal. Drama llama. I wanted to say, it's not about you, nice lady, kids just want to play ball.
So there are two men here from Jamaica and I've asked them both if they know ita, you know, just to be annoying. I told them to feel free to ask me if I knew anyone they knew in the US.
I think the coach is a bit confused about the definition of "optional."
Knowing ita, she probably knows both of them, and dated one's brother or something.
Though I am not one to talk--last night I was perusing OKCupid, looking at the top matches all over the country, and said out loud "I think I know too many people", because several of the top matches were people I KNOW. (One in Baltimore, one in Minnesota, one in New York...etc)
Where in Jamaica are they from?
(I don't assume I know them, but I would not be surprised to be their mutual relative)
