Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You guys, I didn't sleep well at all last night, and I've made three stupid mistakes in a row, and forgot how to do a simple task I do every day. I'm actually worried that I might fall asleep at my desk, which is something I've never worried about before. I just want to go home. I can't believe how awful my brain feels.

Allyson, that truly sucks. Can you get sprung early for any reason.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Googling "google wikipedia" feels recursively intimate.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are advertising a job and we got, no shit, 277 applications for it. One applicant who is NOT making the cut is the one whose cover letter was this: im new to this so i want to give a it a shot . im able to do anything and i learn fast i work hard and i allways want to know more

Yeah, WTF.

holy crap I misspelled my NAME.

ETA, scrappy, that cover letter wasn't from me FYI

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Awesome shot.

In the old photo album my mother pulled out for yesterday, was a picture of my father in a park, goofing around near some men in uniform. In Chicago, in the summer of 1968. Yeah, they were national guard getting ready to put down some protests that hadn't started yet. Not as beautifully composed, but still kind of incredible.

holy crap I misspelled my NAME.

I misspell my name a shocking amount of the time. My typing gets sloppy, but I swear I misspelled my signature the other day, signing for a purchase. I could probably contest the charge! Except it was really me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You guys, I didn't sleep well at all last night

Me either, and I am cranky as hell, and the coffee machine is broken and it makes me want to cry.

On the other hand, I can still spell my name. It's shorter than Allyson's, and easier, but I'll take it.

I can't remember the last time I actually paid proper attention to what comes after the third letter of my surname. It's not that I stop writing, more that I think I just put anything there. It's the last distinctive letter, so let's have some fun and mix things up afterwards!

I just stumbled upon the weird search site [link] It's a search engine for all but the million most popular sites on the web. Oddly fascinating.
