And speaking of festive, at the farmer's market today we discovered franny-centric baked goods and so we had to try them. Outrageously delicious. I don't want to know how much butter is in the rosemary lemon cookies. nom!

Just got a commercial for a new series on A&E with Katee Sackhoff. Looks like a Justified ripoff set in Wyoming.

Maybe it won't totally suck? Also, I went looking for info, and found out that Katee Sackhoff was at JazzFest!! You are all fired. Of course, trying to stalk someone at Jazz Fest would be like playing Where's Waldo at ground level but without all that helpful space in between people.

I'm looking at a lot of commenters who seem to have forgotten that the majority of slash fiction is not canon. If they think authors have to wait for a textual outing before the sex gets...gets anything, they've missed some of the most salient points about fanfic, never mind slash. It's so not an argument for fewer gay characters in anything...

How about in The Enterprise Incident? Kirk pretends to go crazy, Spock pretends to kill him, and Kirk disguises himself as a Romulan. Then they escape. (Did I mention that fake!crazy!Kirk took the Enterprise into the Neutral Zone?)

That is a pretty good one. Evil Kirk in "The Enemy Within" is fun. I love his bluff in "A Taste of Armageddon." Also the punchline to "A Piece of the Action."
