Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

the notary that was going to come around 5 is still not here and not answering texts. annoying.

but, I have used up 2 food items from the fridge and tossed 2 bad veggie things. half the house is vacuumed and I am poised to get at least 3 things off the TiVo.

if the notary does get here before 8, then I will also go fill the car with gas and get cat food, but of not, then those happen tomorrow morning.

I am going to Phoenix for overlapping work conferences where I'll be the admin on duty and general gopher for 120 people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes -- good luck with that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Congrats for being the hostess with the mostess, Cowgirl!

Oh Cass, that's too much. I'm sorry.

...

Good job, Jesse!

It comes as no surprise that Pumpkin has an unholy love for yogurt. However, I was not expecting to have to defend my peas from her. She really likes them!

It's kind of sad how stressed out I was for something that, in the end, was a really low-key event. God forbid I ever have a big dinner party! Or anything fancy.

Yay good party, Jesse!

I am stoked because I found the official results for the race I ran this morning: 39:53! I thought I was going slower than last time, that I was walking more, but no! Over three minutes faster than last time! Woot! It's almost a respectable pace!

And then I went to my first sewing class (of four) and made a decently nice and useful totebag! I'd have picked other colors, but it was easy enough that I think I can make another one.

Good on both counts, meara!

I prefer swimming in the faster lane because I'm not a good passer. Or rather, it makes me mad (especially when the slower one doesn't let you go first when you hit a turn at the same time.) Getting passed makes me go faster and that makes me happier, not mad. And faster swimmers generally have been better passers. All told, I just try to split lanes.

I need my fast swim buddies to start coming at my usual times. I've gotten so slow since Madrid.
