"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh, Cass. I'm really sorry. The month needs to let up on you.

I went to the Pie Hole. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be for the calories I consumed. They didn't prebake any of the pie shells so there was lots of gummy pastry.

Jessica, I prefer being the fastest person in the lane versus the slowest. In either case I end up swimming faster than I want, either to pass people or to make sure I'm out of the way of the faster swimmers. The whole thing is unnecessarily stressful.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Hugs and 'ma to you Cass. I'm sorry.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm so sorry, Cass.

Much coping ~ma, Kat.

I was going to see Battleship, but I decided to see Avengers again instead. Apparently this was a good call.

By the time we got to the theater, I would have paid $9.50 for A/C. And while I did laugh my ass off, I can't really recommend Battleship to anyone. My time would have been better spent seeing The Avengers for the fourth time.

Always Anti-fascist!

I think I've been catcalled once. Which made me all "WTF?" because people don't talk to me like that.(Maybe if I start it first.) Which I would never do to a stranger on the street.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's wild outside. I just watched hail shred my tomato plants. Mr Peabody is hiding under my chair.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Just got a commercial for a new series on A&E with Katee Sackhoff. Looks like a Justified ripoff set in Wyoming. Also there is yet another movie with Adam Sandler, so that's depressing.

Cass, I am sorry for your loss and worries. I had in my mind that Kittenish was young!

After 3 hours of rehearsal and 4 hours of back-to-back recitals today, I am pretty over dance, but Casper is still lovely: [link]

I know, Dana. Dude even has a big hat. Yeah, that's the secret to that show's success. Got the finger on the pulses there, I reckon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Casper is lovely! And so big.

Cass, I'm so sorry for everything.

Kat, sorry for your load of crap as well.

The party went well! The weather could not have been better, all the food was good, and a surprising number of people came in clothes that went with my color scheme, so the whole thing was very attractive. AND at the end, someone asked me where I got the cupcakes! All of which I made.

Now I still have cleanup to do and my nails could not be worse, but I don't think I'm dealing with any of it tonight.
