I've got two words that are going to make all the pain go away. Miniature Golf.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Kat, sounds like it's been a brutal few days. I'm so sorry. Moving is hell.

Feel free to call if you need an ear. And sending you much ~ma if you just need to be with yourself.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I swear I like moving, but still don't want to do it. I mean, I like new places. I just hate work.

I was just told that DC might as well make their upcoming gay character a villain because the poster can't think of any gay villains ever, and it's important not to other homosexuals so much they can't be visualised as anything other than good.

I pretty much just left a link to a page on The Celluloid Closet, but...am I old? If they're twenty or so, is it possible that it's really that much different for them that it's ancient history I'm being sensitive to when I suggest that comics should catch up by front-loading the gay heroes, and bringing gay villains into the picture a little later on?

The status is NOT quo.

I missed what happened, but I'm very sorry you're having such a tough time, Kat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sorry thing are rough, Kat.

I'm very lucky - the catcallers in my neighborhood are clearly flirty and not at all threatening. The guys around here should give lessons on how to compliment strange women on the street, seriously. "I love your face, beautiful!" is pretty common.

Hey sarameg & other swimmers, etiquette-wise, is it better to be the fastest person in the medium lane or the slowest in the fast lane? I'm kind of sick of passing people in the medium lane (which tends to be the most crowded because people don't like to think of themselves as "slow") but I also don't want to be That Guy to the actual fast swimmers in the fast lane.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mobile notaries. They exist and they're actually not that hard to set up. If you really can't find them with Google or whatever, call a hospital. They have many cards on file for mobile notaries.

Our wings are not tired.

My experiences with catcallers has been more amusing than anything else. It doesn't happen that often anymore. Then again I live in a place where nobody looks twice at a woman in a string bikini top in the grocery store.

It could just be that my age and modest dress are a deterrent. I have forewarned the boys that when I lose my belly I will totally be That Old Lady that runs around in midriff baring tops. That will likely result in my children calling out rude things at me.

I'm sorry that your day is so bad, Kat. Whatever ~ma would be most helpful headed your way.

ION, I went in the pool today for the first time in 4 weeks. It was only for a few minutes and I had to use noodles to float because my foot is not very bendy. It did feel soooo gooood.

tommyrot - May 20, 2012 11:23:10 am PDT #5963 of 30001
Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm sorry, Kat.

ION, Magic Meerkat Moments

There's something awesome about a meerkat standing on its hind legs looking out for predators... while perched on a cameraman's head.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, Kat.

The Kroc Center pool opens next week, I am so looking forward to it! If there's a jacuzzi I may have to join.

Aw, meerkats.
