Now I want trifle. Not beef, though; ewwww.
I swept the deck and as much as the patio as I could do without lawn bags and a shovel (for the MULCH under some of the old leaves.)
I want to seriously do nothing else for the rest of the day. My brain is just flatlined — nothing there.
I wish I had a close friend with a pool. I would totally crash it right now. Area public pools open next Saturday.
About the most strenuous thing I can imagine doing is a self-mani/pedi and maybe a book while laying on the bed. I don't know what to read, though. Maybe "The Night Circus" again —I read it over a period of a couple of weeks, which is very disjointed for me.
It's pretty out here, though! I just need a day off; I'll do some more constructive things tomorrow.
OK, all the baking is done. All I have left to do before noon tomorrow is frost more cupcakes and make chicken salad. I think I'm going to do one of those in the morning anyway. So I am GO on dinner plans! Sweet.
Oh fuck, I forgot about the tarts! I mean, I could not make them, but three desserts seems better.
Lost bread. Aka French toast.
Ah. I will now announce, though, when I make it, "Come, family! Eat of the Bread of Perdition!"
Sounds more cult-leadery.
Did car shopping. Looked at a guy's used Element, and even though I loved riding in one and love how they look, once I got behind the wheel it just didn't feel like "my" car. Stopped at the Toyota place to look at Scion Bs and I really liked those and Rav4s, too. Next step is for Jason to go directly to Toyota to see if they have any press cars they want to sell.
That's macabrely cool, Hec. I'd love to visit there sometime — that site is seriously interesting.
