brillig

but DON'T write your will on a McDonald's napkin.

Darn it.

So the days of discovering the hand-written will in the dresser drawer, witnessed only by the servants, and throwing the whole inheritance into a tizzy are over?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, it turns out you can't trust the servants when it comes to wills. The butler did it, and all that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Bryan Fuller talks about Mockingbird Lane, his Munsters reboot.

Our wardrobe is heavily influenced by Alexander McQueen and his use of animal textures. For instance, with [the vampire] Lily, all of her wardrobe comes from nature. The first time we see her this nest of spiders weaves her dress on her body as she’s standing there. We’ll see ravens come in and assemble her blouse out of their feathers. We won’t see animal skins because the animals are donating as opposed to dying for it. She has domain over nature and nature has a fantastic esthetic.

Now I'm wondering what Mockingjay Lane would be like.

Eddie Izzard as Grandpa? That's awesome!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is Revenge discussed in here? I'm watching the season recap that aired last night even though I have watched the whole season. It's an addictive show. I'm interested to see how they're going wrap up the season.

I know a few buffistas have been wary of this show, but I'm really looking forward to it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I watched that bloody recap too. The show is my crack.

Bryan Fuller's got my number. I love his stuff. Besides I'm curious about him playing in the Universal Monsters toybox, and showing them doing actual monstrous stuff.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't have automatic ire over the idea of a Munsters remake given how well the Addams Family movies turned out. And I'll watch anything by Bryan Fuller, he has a better track record of pinging my likes than Joss does.
