The book does have an egg nog recipe! Which makes me sad, because I wanted to have it all mine.
Well, to start off, I subbed lite brown rum for the brandy, so it's two brown rums and lots of fresh nutmeg.
The custard is chilling, and I'll freeze it tomorrow.
There's a buttered rum ice cream in there--you actually add BUTTER to the heavy cream and milk. Even I blanch a touch at that.
