"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I feel like I may have been to that church. Led a retreat, maybe? Dunno. Maybe it just looks like a lot of church complexes.

I think the fact that you've maintained a non-profit site for over a decade totally gives you web communities cred.

In my news, woes, I just found out the music festival that we go to every year will be closing after this year. Finances. And they've been in the hole for a lot of years, so you can see why, but I'm still very sad. It's been going since 1984.

I will very much miss my tribe of anarchists and punks and poets.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ow ow ow OWWWWWW!

While trying to distract the ambient dogs around our office from a big box turtle a co-worker was relocating, I tripped in the midst of a full-tilt run and bellyflopped. Nothing seems to be broken, but I think I have bruised ribs as it now feels like my torso took the place of the punching bag Captain America was working in the Avengers trailer.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Your office is way different from mine.

We're in a small freestanding building by a lake on the owner's property.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh! I forgot I had a question from this morning: Has Sam Champion (Good Morning America weatherman) finally come out? There was a clip on the Taxi TV thinger where I swear he was saying "call me" at those Harvard baseball players, but the volume was down, so maybe not. BUT STILL.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the fact that you've maintained a non-profit site for over a decade totally gives you web communities cred

Well, I don't know what the difference between profit and non-profit is. And that's always what the for-profit people say: you don't UNDERSTAND what sacrifices you have to make in order to turn a profit.

OMG. I just suddenly had the urge to see CalGal schooling Nick Denton on running sites and making money. That would be hysterical.

Thanks for the congratulations. Somehow I managed to stumble into "backup SPN recapper" so I'll help fill in next season for Annalee.
