I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

All sympathies, lisah.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm sorry, lisah.

Always Anti-fascist!

Lisah, that's so sad. But it sounds like you got a second chance.

In ridiculous news, I think I'm going to make a gender-based discrimination complaint at my job -- they are having a team walking competition thing, and gave out pedometers, but they only work properly if you have a waistband to clip it to. This is Day Two for me with no waistband!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jesse, can you clip it to your shoe?

Underwear was already suggested to me, and no thanks! The other day, I put it on my dress pocket, and it didn't measure crap. I'm not sure what the important variables are -- close to body? Center of gravity? Parallel to the ground? Some or all of those must matter.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I could never make my pedometer work, no matter what I clipped it to, including my waistband.
