Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is this what you're thinking of, ita !: Morning Glory muffins

Those look different and the Morning Star ones have no nuts. But the raisins and carrots and apple butter and wheat germ? Sounds really tasty, but I dunno.

aww, man, Bob was out for a few hours today and came home to find our cat Swifty had died. We hadn't seen him have a seizure in a while but, who knows? He was acting just like himself last night and this morning. I really am going to miss him. He was a really affectionate guy with lots of personality. I'm a little worried about his brother. Who knows how he'll react, if he will, who can know with cats.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh lisah, I'm so sorry. Losing a beloved pet is always tough.

Huh. How do you feel about that?

I don't. I mean, I think I'm supposed to feel something but it's more like, huh. A sister who was born in June 2008 named Graeme.

Yes, you met him. He probably ran to the door to say hi when you came in. He was a really social guy.

Thanks, you guys.

I mean, I think I'm supposed to feel something but it's more like, huh.

I'd think that must be a pretty common reaction.
