Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, hey. Good morning.

This going in to the office shit stinks.

To be filed under Unsurprising?

I feel the same about going to school.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hell, I feel that way about going to a job interview today.

As I sit here not yet working on work, I can say the same thing without even having to GO anywhere...working from home also not appealing! (But I must, because I have to be prepared for my fight later, and packed. Eek.)

Trying to decide if I should bring this dress with me. It's great, but the zipper is very stubborn, and I don't want to be freaking out at 8AM on Thursday trying to get it to zip up and failing. But so cute! Hrm.

Good luck on the job interview, Tom.

I really just want to go home and lie down. I'd like to start life over in a few weeks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The software is not letting me work. That's okay, I didn't want to work anyway.

My oldest niece got fired from the "perfect" job that turned out to be not so great. She has decided that she isn't suited for working in a corporate environment and she plans to concentrate on her clothing design business. Unsurprisingly, I agree with her.

Jackson: No! F–k no! I’m in one of the best woman-action-movies ever f–king made — The Long Kiss Goodnight.

I loved that movie. Loved Geena Davis.

Wait, what g-string? I didn't see a g-string.

hip deep in pie

Good luck Tom!

I had to do a fasting glucose test this morning. I went to the wrong place first. Then I had to have blood drawn, wait an hour for those results, drink liquid sugar adn wait another two hours for more bloodwork. The whole time I would have happily killed someone for a coffee.

Now I have my first counselling session tonight and I am all agitated. Being grown-up sucks.

My mother fasted all day yesterday for a test today and then ate something last night after my sister left. ::facepalm::

I'm going to tell them not to reschedule the test; there's very little they could learn that would make a difference, anyway.

Social Security Baby Name lists are out (late - they usually come out the Friday before Mother's Day!) [link]

In shocker news, Michael, which was #1 for 40 years, is now out of the top 5 boy names.

Casper's name keeps on rising - #24 now, it was #88 when we named her! - and Dillo's and mine didn't move much.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Interesting - the old-fashioned-girls-names trend seems to be bleeding over into boys names, just barely edging out boys-names-that-end-in-N. Lots more biblical names on that list than in years past.
