I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

huge whooping cough outbreak: lack of vaccinations combined with lack of funding create a public health crisis.

Yep. Totally and completely predictable.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Haven't seen the Avengers yet, plan to remedy that in less than an hour. Of the pre-movies, I enjoyed them all, but especially Iron Man 1 and Captain America. I liked The Hulk, but it was a different actor so I don't think it counts. I like Thor, but thought it was kind of light weight. Iron Man 2 wasn't bad, just not as good.

I really liked the way Captain America captured the feel of the past. It felt like an old fashioned movie which made his waking up in 20whatever so jarring.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So I just talked to Emmett to encourage him to make pancakes for his mom.

Me: So how's your weekend so far?
Emmett: Pretty good. I was up really late last night so I'm really tired.
Me: Did you and Jake have an all-night gaming session or what?
Emmett: No, we went to a Quinceanera for this girl that Jake knew. And then we stayed after with some folks there.
Me: ::lightbulb going off:: So...did you make out with a girl last night?
Emmett: Yes. Yes, I did.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Emmett: Yes. Yes, I did.

Good for him!

I have spent the last 2 days mainlining all the movies: Iron Man 2, Capt. America, Thor, and Incredible Hulk. I now feel prepared for the Avengers.

I thought Capt. America was boring but pretty. Needed to be shirtless more. Thor was marginally better, and also needed to be shirtless more. I enjoyed Iron Man 2, but I generally like RDJ in everything. I loved the Incredible Hulk.

Really, is there a better place for a 15 y.o. boy to find girls to kiss than at a Quinceanera?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

high-fives Emmett

Going to see Avengers again in an hour.

I didn't see the The Incredible Hulk. Which actor played Banner, and why did they get a different guy for Avengers? I like Buffalo. Not sure I want to see a different Bruce Banner now.

Edward Norton. And he had another commitment. But I think he talked Ruffalo into taking the part.

Our wings are not tired.

Go, Emmett!

Bobby went to pick up our Avengers tickets since for some reason I couldn't get them on-line which is my usual method. Assigned seats! A first for me. Granted I rarely go to the movies anymore because I prefer to wait and watch at home with all the amenities.

Not having been a 15 yo boy, I'm not sure, but that is def. a target rich environment!

Not sure I want to see a different Bruce Banner now.

Edward Norton was really good (unsurprisingly).

Thrive to spite them

I'm glad Norton couldn't do it, I don't like him. I didn't really know who Ruffalo was, but I just added a bunch stuff he'd been in on Netflix/
