And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just saw the Avengers for the first time and really liked it (duh!) Been a long time since I felt like a movie was worth the $10.50.

And, in my tradition of geeky names for electronics (Desktop-Giles; Laptop-Ripper; iPhone-iAnto)I now have a name for my iPad. Its name is Jarvis.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I don't think Matt Damon's Bourne was frequently shirtless, though. I think it's a choice of the franchise.

sarameg, that's super awesome about Taylor and her folks! Awww.

My roommate and I volunteered at the Humane Society's live auction tonight. And holy god, these people have too much money. $25K for your pet to be the cover of the 2013 calendar they sell?? $8K to be one of the months? I mean, $10K to Bali I can kind of understand, but...

Renner is the new Bourne?

Well, not quite. Here's the trailer: [link]

Looks like he's another graduate of the Treadstone program, after Bourne walks away at the end of the 3rd movie.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's great, sarameg. Glad to hear the positive feedback from her folks.

iPhone-iAnto

Ha! Love it.

It was actually Dana's idea. I said I was going to call it Ianto because it takes care of me, and she said "shouldn't it be iAnto?"

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Renner looks disturbingly similar to a guy I dated.

Sleepy. Trying to think of what I want to do tomorrow--it's supposed to be another gorgeous day, so I feel like I ought to do something outdoors, or walk somewhere. Oh! I forgot the farmer's market is open these days--not much produce yet, but I can eat something there, and then walk and get a pedicure. A plan is formed.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Johansson was in super-revealing outfits, which looked great.

You know, I don't think they were very revealing. There wasn't a whole lot of cleavage. It was all just very...tight. Well, wait, that's her uniform. But her interrogation outfit and India outfit were quite nice.

Captain America was my favorite of the lead-up movies, but I've had fun watching all of them except Iron Man 2.
