Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I enjoyed Thor so much! But I think I saw it on a really hot day, and I really like going to the movies.

sara, that's so great.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Welllll... the special effects are really pretty, and the acting is good on Anthony Hopkins' and Tom Hiddleston's parts. But it didn't really wow me as that well put-together a story.

JZ, the box arrived today! Thank you so very much. I'm waiting until tomorrow to open it (and oh and ah) with Grace.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thor pretty, especially shirtless, but it's really not very good, is it?

Right? And it took me two weeks and 3 DVDs to actually see the whole damn thing. I still haven't seen Avengers because I was trying to see all the other movies first.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I thought Thor was the best B-movie it could be. I liked it without reservation. Now, Captain America, OTOH... shudder.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Now that I've seen the whole thing, the second half was a lot better than the first.

Also, Thor pretty.

Because books.

I thought Thor was completely delightful. That'll definitely be a keeper for me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

bon, you didn't like Captain America?

Oy, just had a spider panic in the bedroom. I had to run in and snatch it up and squash it with a tissue and dispose of it in the toilet. I think the toilety death was the reassuring part for Matilda as she was convinced that it was full of poison and would kill her. (It was certainly not a poisonous spider, but bigger than preferable.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I thought both Captain America and Thor were... not very interesting. But I really enjoyed Avengers, so what do I know? Maybe it's the RDJ and Whedon dialogue factor.

Captain America was boring.
