Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, I called.

And I feel like shit about it.

The intake worker said that it probably would get screened out and not assigned, but still. I feel like shit.

Our wings are not tired.

You did the right thing, Aims. I'm sorry it was necessary.

I refuse to play board games with DH. I absolutely play for fun and couldn't care less about winning or losing. This makes DH as insane as his fierce competitive nature makes me. We probably haven't played a board game together in nearly 20 years. For some reason it doesn't make us crazy to play cards.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a horrifyingly bad day at work. Still trying to sort out how much is me sucking and how much is my manager having wack expectations. Either way, I feel like I have been beat up.

Oh, and Aims, you did the right thing, but I know it must feel awful.

for what it's worth, I think that you did the right thing. if the kid gets some help, or even if documenting this is the thing that gets him help in the future, you've done a good thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, Aims, what they said. You did a good thing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you so much for the support. I hate it when doing a good thing makes you feel bad, ya know?

And Scrappy - I am so sorry that you are feeling beat up on. That is no good. I'm willing to bet that it is wack expectations and not so much you. Nothing ever makes me feel more beat up that not living up to unrealistic expectations because you can't win, no matter what. I hand to you a cocktail.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That sucks, Scrappy.

Trust my rage

So maybe mac and I will go see Avengers. Parental child appropriate meter from anyone who has seen it?

I saw it today and watched with an eye towards taking the kids. There was no kissing, no torture, hardly any blood, and one use of "stupid ass". I was surprised it was rated PG13 because I am seriously thinking to taking the kids who are almost 7 and 4.

Oh yeah, that too!
