I got my wrist tat finally! Pic is on my Facebook; it's a simple script font that reads "eligere," the infinitive form of the Latin for "to choose."
My right hand is my action hand and it will remind me to make good choices, that actions have consequences...and sometimes that choices need to have an element of risk if you want to pursue your passion.
I love it. It took about 15 minutes, and I was a little worried about how much a wrist tat would hurt compared to my 3 back tats, but it was less painful than an brow wax.
YAY!
So, if you had a dog and your dog was "playing" with a skunk, would you pull the dog away? Or record a video of it?
Dog learns about skunks
My mind just went to a “don’t speak Latin in front of the books” place.
I'm not Xander, Tom! I know what Latin I shouldn't say...
(I love it when they speak Latin spells on SPN, because I know pretty much what they're saying! /geek)
Okay, I am officially tired of being in an airport.
I am tired of being in a laundromat, but so far it's not official.
I'm sitting here with my now month-plus eyetwitch, trying to forget I'm in the mission office crosshairs for the next month or so (not in a shoot-to-kill, just demanding and needing to be ready to jump) and Devi steps up on my hip and lets out a demanding cry that scares the shit out of high-strung-right-now me.
...she just wanted attention.
ZEN is totally a word in Scrabble!
No, sadly, that's all I have to add to the conversations. I foolishly read the comments somewhere on Obama's speech and now I'm in a teeth-gnashing incoherent state of outrage and despair. So, yeah, pretty much status quo, lately. At least MY eyelid isn't twitching anymore. That hasn't happened since I stopped going in to the office.
Last night's Revenge was good, although a bit of a weird episode to do so late in the season.
I see what you mean. But I wouldn't have wanted them to break up the narrative flow they had going earlier, either, so I can kind of see how it got pushed to now, too.
