Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My mother just asked me to explain Fifty Shades of Gray to her. She heard about it from people in her mah-jongg group.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So, is this going to kill Android?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thinking of you, msbelle, and wishing the best.

Kat, you too.

Zen, I have no idea about that dream, but it's fascinating.

Happy Birthday to GC!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I almost never remember my dreams, but I frequently find myself seeing something, or trying to figure out when or where I saw something, and realizing it must have been in a dream.

So, is this going to kill Android?

Yikes, I hope not! I don't want my phone or my Kindle to get turned into bricks.

Or performing a task or an errand in a dream that actually needs doing, and being convinced you actually mailed that bill, or picked up those particular batteries? Yeah, NSM.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

meara and Teppy (and maybe the boy) are coming for dinner! I am so excited I vacuumed!

Woo!!! (Not about the vacuuming; about the company.) (Although I appreciate vacuuming.)

And that reminds me that I never posted the picture from when Kate and DH visited. D'oh.

I also need to get meara's Thai order, which is more pressing.

I hope she is not still wandering around the medical campus, which is indeed labyrinthine.

brillig

I have very vivid dreams, and it's interesting to figure out which obscure incident inspired what.

My most recent one, involved Sherlock and John living in a very posh faux-classical mansion, and Sherlock lurking in various rooms as he broods. There was one scene where John and Sherlock were playing ping-pong in an elaborate salon while two footmen stood against the wall.

And this was before I saw the season premiere, with the house and the stuff.
