{{{msbelle}}} I've been thinking about you and mac. So much ~ma for both of you.

Family meaning you and mac, or you and mac and your parents and all? Hang in there, lady.
Fifty Shades of Grey was originally Twilight fanfic, although it was an AU with Bella as a student and Edward as an older (like, 28) businessman who wants her to be his sex slave. The author published it online in fanfic communities, and then published it as an original e-book with the names changed, etc.
Then Vintage or whoever got wind of it, and snapped it up and put all three books out simultaneously. The media is behaving as if women reading erotica is a WHOLE NEW THING and they're calling it, charmingly, "mommy porn."
("Charmingly" should be in sarcasm font, for the record.)
I think I saw the second book in the store ... I'm blanking on the title, though.
It's Fifty Shades Darker, and then Fifty Shades Freed.
HAHAHAHAAH - hilarious.
family meaning all of us. I need for the parents to start being more engaged since they have, IMO, a very limited view of what is acceptable and I am tired of feeling I need to defend myself for decisions or defend him for the strides he has made. They can fight with the professionals and I want them to get into some sort of support group for families.
Inviting your parents to come is a good idea, even if it's not going to be easy.
Double post. Oops.
That sounds like it will be challenging. I hope it does help them, in the long run, be more able to help you.
Ugh Kat, cheating students totally deserve the full heat of your ire as far as I'm concerned.
Hugs and strength to you, msbelle. I'm glad your parents will be there too, sounds like they need an eye opener, and from someone who isn't you.
