Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Also, DVDs and DVR watching.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

a marathon of the Sapphire & Steel DVDs I checked out from the library

Ooh. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the show.

This weekend is trivia night, gym, gardening, and spending time with my mom before she leaves town for six months. I'll also be doing (more) studying for my securities licensing exam.

Avengers looks like it'll have to wait until next weekend, alas.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, true words, msbelle. Tosses a bit more strength~ma yor way.

This weekend: tomorrow the parentals and my sister are coming over to check me out. Parents will be heading north for summer soon so I likely won 't see them until near July. Then tomorrow night if I can manage the trip my friends are having a Cinco de Mayo / howl at the moon party. Host and I have to skip the margaritas so we plan to spend the evening mocking the drunkards. Sunday I will likely spend recovering from too much action on Saturday.

My recovery from foot surgery has been a mixed bag of pain and relaxation. Two weeks in bed is cool for catching up on reading and recorded tv, but less fun for the pain and gastric intolerance for meds. Yesterday was a banner day. The first day I went past 4 hours without popping a pill - and I lasted 11-1/2 hours!!! So today I sat in a chair to work for about 5 hours and ended up miserable in bed the rest of the afternoon. Seriously peeps, I am a lightweight! It is definety getting better. Tuesday I get sutures removed and some kind of cast or something. Woo?

Thank you so much for the TNG link! Just finished watching. I did love that show.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am going to "do projects" around the house tomorrow, then see Avengers on IMAX (WOO!) and then grocery, puttering, trying to play catch up slowly.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh msbelle, I know those are not high on your list of responses. I wish we were closer to help in any way. I'd send a casserole through the intertubes, but I don't think it would reheat well.

This weekend: swim lesson, birthday party, baseball and that's all between 10-2:30 on Saturday.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Beastie Boys are on shuffle at the bar tonight.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Left flowers at G-Son studios. Writing about it all now. I really thought he'd get better, and there would be a tour in a year, and I would be an old lady when the Beastie Boys would start passing on.

One of my friends just said she grew up in the same neighborhood with Adam. Same nursery school and everything. Another friend used to hang out in the same circles in the early 80s. She has some of their original punk rock 7"s.

Allyson, you were the first person I thought of when I saw the news. I'm so sorry.

Just got back from seeing Avengers at IMAX with the work people. Wheeee! This weekend is decompressing and writing.
