We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Stuffed Banthas! Cute!

This weekend I am doing projects around the house, getting my car washed, sitting with my folks, and going to see The Avengers on Sunday.

And filing. I should do some filing. Bah.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

They were my favorite band. It's so weird and awful to be so broken-hearted about someone passing, who you never even knew.

Yes. I don't even.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Art has power. Plus he was talented AND seemed like a really amazing person. It's a true loss.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm listening to Paul's Boutique on YouTube. I don't think I've heard any of these songs before.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Weekend: Cringing about memorial service and then memorial service.

Unless I say fuck it all today and go for a double feature Hunger Games/Avengers.

I really have stuff I need to get done because I'm leaving for the valley again Monday.

...and the SO just texted and said it's cancellation Friday, apparently, so I'm going to go in and hang with him at the store later. So I really should get my tail in gear now.

Holy shit, I'm so jealous of you hearing Paul's Boutique for the first time.

I am currently listening to License To Ill, and will be kicking it with Paul's Boutique next.

Weekend: Tonight, the transgender film fest with some friends, and then possibly dinner (if I can't convince them to go dancing).

Saturday, I was thinking of doing the 5K, but my legs are still a little tired from last time, so I am contemplating a different one on Mother's Day. But maybe I should just do it, so I"m active? The one tomorrow is near my house, and cheaper. But I'd have to walk there. I should also really really do some gardening. My yard is a mess of weeds. And then possibly more film fest, the shorts are at 4pm

Sunday, fly to Cincy! Monday maybe hang out with Flea and Teppy! (Teppy, facebook message is insent)

"Shake Your Rump" was pretty badass. And I'm in "High Plains Drifter" right now, which I think is either sampling "Piggy" or using whatever Trent sampled.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

This weekend:

Tonight: voice lessons and shopping.

Tomorrow: gardening and Avengers, where I'll be wearing this: [link] (and shorts and so on).

Sunday: Wine tasting party for a friend's 60th birthday (which isn't until September, but she's celebrating all year long, which is kinda awesome).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This weekend, projects around the house (I've decided to refer to "cleaning" as "projects" to make myself more interested in it), Avengers, Sherlock.

Tried to get Percy into the brand-new top-loading cat carrier I bought just for him. Alas, the carrier is too small, and the cat is too pointy. He is free, I am scratched up, and the carrier is for sale.
