"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Zenkitty,

do you note that for a specific reason, or is this the way your day has been going?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Look what you made me do.

hip deep in pie

13 years until I can retire.

12 for me, with a reduced pension. 14, with an unreduced pension. If I stay that long, I will have no bit of sanity left.

Look what you made me do.

What a shame, Tom.

Me, I think I need a salad today.

I have about 18 years before I can retire. And I'll probably need it, to build up my retirement fund enough.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Hi, all. Thought I'd stick my head in.

I should be pricing clothes for the shop, but instead I seem to be here. Well, and contemplating more Captain America fic.

Hi Holli!

My falafel was just OK. I should have listened and gotten Thai.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Are folks all planning on retiring at 65? If I retire then, I have 18 years to go.

Hopefully they won't raise the retirement age.

brillig

Retire? I laugh sadly. 13 years till I'm 65, but I'm expecting to be greeting people at a WalMart the day before I die.

Hiya Holli!

How's the vintage life going?

Fred Pete - May 02, 2012 7:20:56 am PDT #3443 of 30001
Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm eligible to retire in about 6.5 years. Realistically, it'll probably be a little longer. Although the current plan is to retire to something I want to do, without worrying about whether it brings in enough money to pay the bills.
