I am trying to do an expense report for last week's travel, but don't actually know how to use the new company's system. I hate having to call people up and ask for questions I've already had answered, but...

Give me a week, msbelle, then I can post more. But right now I should be grading. oops.

It's RAINY and I'm TIRED and I want to SLEEP but I have to do all this WORK. The housekeepers are coming again tomorrow, thank goodness, my house is FILTHY because I'm such a LAZY SLUT*, but this means I have to clean before they get here because otherwise they won't be able to find the FLOOR. Also I'm HUNGRY. And if I go out to get food, I'll have to brush my hair and put on real pants and shoes and I look like crap because I didn't even feel like showering this morning. THERE.

*"slut" in the old definition, a lazy housekeeper, which makes "lazy slut" redundant.

I ate lunch then fell asleep (rather than working on the thing that is due tomorrow at noon). Productivity was slightly better at the public library across the street, but not enough.

So, I went and got Marco's Pizza (pepperoni and pineapple) and a Pepsi, and am now installed at the library on the Health Science campus (where the neuro books live. This will be helpful), fully caffeinated and approaching the "deadline breathing down my neck" point.

However, this is a stupid assignment, and I don't want to have to do it.

A book of Flannery O'Connor's cartoons is coming out this year.

It was her first aspiration to be a cartoonist.

In my case, fandom and writing shit no worthwhile person will ever want to read, except as a dire cautionary tale. Also, fiddling with my netflix list...it's a full life and it's all mine.
