Penny was originally Bernice and I picked Penny from Big Bang Theory. I tried Faith, Buffy, Willow, Kaylee, and other fannish-y names and Penny seemed to work.
Dean was originally named Nalu. I named him Dean for Dean Winchester and he was very much like Dean Winchester - loved his food, hated to be away from his family, hunter. He just wasn't as robust.
Okay Lisa, I studied that dog and she said her name should be Cleo.
I said, "as in Cleopatra??"
She just shook her head and said Cleo.
How about "Russet"?

Oh shit. I made a tri tip and I cut a slice off. Without actually cutting into bite size pieces I bit into it and almost chocked. Badly. K then said I wasn't allowed to eat any more until she got home from hockey (whatever) because the kids can't dial 911 on the cell phones and they'll traumatized if I they have to sit in the house with my dead body.
