Well, I just got back from the SA Art Collection storage area in the sub-basement of the university library.
Where they were supposed to come get me in about an hour . . . instead they left me there!!
I had to leave via the emergency exit (takes you to the stairs) and climb up to the 2nd floor (because I really didn't want to set off the alarms.)
I was almost back to the office when I realized I'd left my sorter and notepad in the basement.
Not going back . . . .
Performance review was not traumatic, and there were no surprises, as it should be. And yet I still let review time make me panicky.
You could read this, which I thought was from the onion, but in fact, is not; [link]
I think my favorite thing about that is the heading "Boycott Business who accept Welfare payments," because of course he will do no such thing -- he couldn't, if he wants to keep buying food.
The person who made it made every other letter red and green. And it is in Papyrus!
She also just got promoted to a job a grade above me (she is a sweet girl, and I would not do that job if you paid me, but still....)
Sorry, I was asleep on the other side of the world. Heading out to Undara today- tablelands and lava tubes oh my. Cross you fingers the boys behave. T had an EPIC meltdown yesterday.
I almost registered on that site just to say "And all your Democratic neighbors are highly grateful that they don't have to listen to your lunatic rantings anymore."

I was thinking about that. I also like how he like to loudly ask what EBT is and then harangue the cashier and others in line about it.

Upholding his right as an American to be an annoying blowhard who makes everyone else wait while he bloviates.
I hope I run into someone like that so I can say "So you're one of those selfish greedy pigs who thinks starving children are a good thing?"
