Oh, last night Scott Brown said something about defeat being temporary -- word on the street in my office is that John Kerry is going to be the next Secretary of State, and Brown can run in that special election.
There is also a possibility he could run for governor in two years.
Does Obama not WANT to have a DEmocratic majority in the Senate? There must be plenty of qualified people for SecState who are not sitting Senators. Hell Jimmy CArter would be great, but probably way too far left for Obama.
I don't understand. When Victoria Jackson says:
"I just went to a briefing in Washington, D.C., across the street from the Capitol, at the Longworth building at 8:30 a.m. two days ago and it changed my life. For six hours, I saw pictures and names and dates and facts and Islamic law books and Qurans, Surahs for six hours and they proved to me ... that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our highest positions in government and this is serious.”
Is she lying? Delusional? Being punked? Because my brain cannot wrap itself around much she said on the topic, but this is taking the cake.
also too old.
Yeah, I don't want Kerry. I say look at people who just lost their elections, or someone like Wesley Clark.
Typo Boy, I think the rumors of John Kerry have mainly come from the fact that Kerry and Obama apparently worked well together during the debate prep, in which Kerry played the Romney role in mock debates. At least that is what I heard.
ita - I would like whatever wakkadoodle powerpoint she was shown to go to a few independant fact checkers.
I don't know if I can be in my parents house tonight when my father gets home from work and both he and my mother start wailing about the downfall of the United States. I was ready to flee when I got in yesterday and spoke to my dad for five minutes. And electricity is not expected to be restored at my own place until Monday morning. I don't think I can handle this without lots of cigarettes and alcohol.
Thank god my lil' bro is in Florida for a wedding, because otherwise I'd be hiding in his room smoking and drinking while he lectured me drunkenly about the downfall of America.
My father-in-law posted on facebook today that he hope Obama can now start moving toward the middle. I'm suddenly looking forward to the holiday season even less than I already was.
It's almost unheard of for someone to stay Secretary of State for more than 4 years. I think it must be nearly as exhausting as being the President.
word on the street in my office is that John Kerry is going to be the next Secretary of State, and Brown can run in that special election.
I've heard that he wants it (who knows) but might not get it for just this reason.
