In my case, these are people I don't know (ah, the fun of being a "public figure"), so I feel no remorse about unfriending them.
Completely understandable. In my case a few of the people are relatives, and it would start a family kerfuffle if I outright unfriended them. Better to just not see their posts for now.

So it looks like Dems gain 3 Senate seats, but are losing seats in the House. It that right?
I think we still can't say about the House - too many toss-up seats left to fall. The Senate margin depends on the MT, ND and NV results - I think if they all go Dem, it'll be D+4; all Repub, then D+1.

I am so happy, my first election and Obama's elected again! I AM OVER THE MOON, but I can only imagine how my friends feel that didn't want this and if the tables were turned I can only think how hard it would be for me so my heart goes out to you guys and I hope you know that I would never vote for someone that I thought would bring us down in any way, shape or form.
