I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Tammy Duckworth, yay!

My friend at WaPo tells me the newsroom staff is scurrying around to layout the paper with an Obama Win on the cover.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, now I can sleep. I think watching the speech would actually get me too riled up again, so this is my shot. Night, Buffistas!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

NPR has also called it, if we were wondering.

Someone let me know when Romney comes on TV to admit he's a giant evil loser.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Tammy Duckworth won too?

From my FB feed....

Is it strange that I watch MSNBC all night until they call for Obama and then I switch to Fox. I think that's called schadenfreude.

So true.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But I have to say, with Sherrod Brown's win in Ohio, it's reassuring to see that throwing nothing but piles of outside-donor-cash at a race doesn't ensure a win.

I have seen regressions on this. Money can nudge things, especially where only one side has enough cash; but ultimately it can't make up for an otherwise clear choice.

(I also wonder at what point the incessant advertising and robocalling becomes actively counterproductive.)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My friend at WaPo tells me the newsroom staff is scurrying around to layout the paper with an Obama Win on the cover.

The hell? You don't lay out 2 versions? That's as dumb as Romney not writing a concession speech ahead of time.

move out and draw fire

So Barack's tweeted it...

And Trump's called for a revolution.
