I'm not crying but I'm so excited I want to jump up and down!
I remember staying up so late with a different group of people online for the Kerry Bush election and getting a phone call (because I finally had to go to bed) that Kerry won.
Only to wake up and find out Bush stole.
Then last election I stayed up way way way too late just so I could see Florida officially be called and turn Blue on CNN. I was crying then.
I can't cry - I'm just in shock. I was bracing myself for another 2000.
I just got the email from Barack, so you know it's on now
That's the real deal right there.
I am still nervous, because that's my nature. But I have to say, with Sherrod Brown's win in Ohio, it's reassuring to see that throwing nothing but piles of outside-donor-cash at a race doesn't ensure a win.

Pssst, that was the Gore v. Bush election in 2000. Bush actually won in 2004.
I assume I'm not the only one crying?
I'm too much in shock that this has been called tonight.
I am taking lots of deep breaths.
Love the way the Daily Show announced the result.
I want more confirmation too. Like Romney saying "Yep, he won." I want to see that narrow-eyed glower of fury.

Brown's opponent was the shiftiest, most flat-out criminal jackhole. Fortunately that was pretty clear.
