Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay for Warren, yay for Donnelly. I suspect this will be like 2008, when my happiness at Obama's election was greatly mitigated by my disappointment in the results of the local propositions.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Joe II died in WW2, so I'm guessing he's not his son.

Yeah. There was a made-for-TV movie: Young Joe: The Forgotten Kennedy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tom, he's Robert's grandson. His father is also Joe Kennedy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, I'm home. Glad to hear about Warren. Irritated that my local news is superseding national results. Fuck the weather! Fuck the local races! The polls aren't even closed yet!

This post from Sullivan over an hour ago amused me:

I'm watching Fox and they seem very glum, apart from Rove who is seeing signs of better GOP turnout in Virginia counties. It's funny to watch an entire narrative wobble: earlier they were expressing amazement that the Benghazi story did not give us a Romney landslide.

Virginia is worrying me.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Comment on the Economist live-blog:

"Massachusetts approves medical marijuana. It's 4:19 in Cambridge."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just made myself an accidentally strong drink. This should go well.
