I am watching HuffPost Live, obsessively reloading cnn.com, and trying not to throw right the fuck up all over everything.
Matilda is curled up next to me eating cantaloupe and sobbing because she wants to vote for real (she school-voted for Obama because Romney wants to take away PBS Kids, which helps kids learn to read and if kids don't learn how to read they won't know how to do anything) and she hates not being old enough and
she hates November.
So do I, baby, so do I.
Michigan has been called for Obama.
And Massachusetts! Romney may get a place in the history books for losing more home states than any other Presidential candidate ever.
They did that with Vermont. It's not a big surprise we're going for Obama.
But please someone assure me that Obama is going to win this, every where I look Romney is ahead.
OMG. I am thrilled and I'm not from MA.
The local news had a group of self described undecideds and asked them how they voted. It was a landslide for Obama. I hope that is really representative for CO.
But please someone assure me that Obama is going to win this, every where I look Romney is ahead.
Obama's gonna win. He's generally meeting or exceeding projections (which have him winning).
I'm surprised North Carolina is so close, pleasantly surprised I might add.
Romney may get a place in the history books for losing more home states than any other Presidential candidate ever.
Heh.
Warren won!
For real? That's exciting! Edit: Places I'm looking aren't calling it yet.
I dunno about Warren--Chris Hayes just said the result hasn't been announced.
