move out and draw fire

According to the media, Virginia doesn't have paper ballots. But most of us were offered paper ballots today. One of my cowworkers said that his polling place wasn't offering them, and he overheard one electoral worker telling another the reasons for that.

The part that caught his ear was "It's a shame, because the paper ballots are faster to count than the computer ballots."

Australia is nice so far They ran out of the Shiraz I'd settled on after trying several others. Impromptu wine flights? But with less class? We had to pass the time somehow and were of like minds.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

People here in the office were talking about touch screen machines refusing to take Romney votes, but I cannot imagine that happening in Texas and anything other than the voting machine being taken out back and shot. Apparently they had no visual proof, it was some woman calling in on a reght wing talk radio show last week. I walked away shaking my head at them.

Yeah, Fox was talking about voting machines switching votes from Romney to Obama last week.

They presented no evidence.

It made me paranoid. One thing Republicans like to do is accuse Democrats of doing some evil thing that Republicans are already doing. That way, when Democrats acuse Republicans of doing it, it sounds like a tit-for-tat, he said/she said kind of thing.

SARA!!! Bailey misses you. Mac requested you stay for longer when you come back.

I am heartened by my county, I re-looked up data from 2008 and it was like 56/44, so so so very purple. I am hoping to see that become even closer to an even split this year.

Awww, msbelle & Maria, it's mutual.

Now I need to get moving to avoid the sleepiness.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I love my OCR ballots and don't understand how any place would choose touchscreens instead. Instant count at the time you vote AND there's a big fat non-chaddy piece of cardstock in case it comes to that! What's not to like?

Well, aside from less opportunities to suppress the vote, of course. But if you're at least pretending to play fair!

I want OCR ballots and dyed fingers once you've voted. Low Tech awesomesauce.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I should have taken a picture of my ballot since it didn't get scanned in my presence.
