Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I can see my polling place from my house! And the parking lot is crowded. I'll wait until after the lunch rush.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like the circus!

And I like bread! Current low carb diet notwithstanding.

OK, have filled out my sample ballot, I will take the advice of my voter's guide and vote mid-morning when they expect a lull, because I can.

Heh. Timing my vote for the lulz.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My FB page today has been surprisingly calm today. Mostly just people telling everyone to vote. I will be very grateful if I can go to bed tonight knowing the results of the election, but I am doubtful that that will happen.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The Princeton Election Consortium put their last prediction up at noon: [link]

I'm good with that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My uncle who I love is posting insane things on FB.

Does he think Obama is going to turn the country over to the UN?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I know right? at this point we can guess the insanity.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've read a lot of conservative voters think that if Obama gets reelected, the country will be "destroyed" in the next four years.

Part of me feels sorry for them. OK, a tiny part. The rest of me says, "Fuck you, you fucking idiot."

Thrive to spite them

I voted! First time in Vermont, I didn't vote in the previous local election because I just diidn't know the issues. Or what Ward I was in and I was lazy.

Being a small town in a small state it was easy, but kinda fun. There's 1 polling place for the City and 1 for the Town ( mostly everyone refers to St albans as just that but there's the City and Town, if you think of an irregularly shaped donut the City is the hole and the Town is the ever expanding donut).

Anyway, I went to Town Hall, gave my name got my Ward, went and got my ballot and voted. I did not get an I Voted Sticker.

There was only one issue besides the elections. It was straight forward and I saw some people I know.

Last night I called and talked to my Aunt and we talked about the glut of election ads and I told her about the weird Idaho ad but we managed not to talk specifics. Before the last election she told me Obama was evil. I don't know how she still stands on that and I'm not asking, it's just easier.
