Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Congrats VW and Lloyd! Sorry I missed the watch-and-post of the nuptuals, but it sounds like a great service.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hi everybody! I am now feeling all sentimental about our community. You guys are awesome and I'm so glad we get to share so much of our lives with each other.

It’s so true. I recently reread the entire transcript of ND’s proposal and the many, many hours of breathless waiting that followed on the board, and it made me completely teary. And laugh.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was thinking about that, Pix! I don't know how nobody, least of all ND, spilled the beans during all those breathless hours!

I was at a soccer game, so just now get to watch. To anyone else watching late, you can jump to minute 16 for the start of stuff.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm not where I can watch, but reading the watch and post has me all fluttery. Congrats Val and Lloyd.

I will soon be at a vow renewal for some friends so it is just that kind of day.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Gin, blech. I keep thinking someday I'll try something gin-based and it will be yummy, because in theory, I should like gin. But no.

You really should. The gin thing is because I keep think we'll find the perfect gin cocktail for you. But I tend to like drier and more bitter things, so it's really unlikely I will be the one to find it. You should try the gin things that look too floral or sweet for me.

OMG, the game at the end of this Colbert cliip

Colbert breaking character or honestly laughing are my favorite parts. Because he's so damn good at staying in character, not because I want to see him fail.
