In Florida I also get the feeling people are worried they aren't going to be able to vote on Tuesday because of long lines and limited hours so now there are long lines with people trying to vote.
I'm actually starting to wonder if I should have voted early, seeing as how I am from the state everyone wants to take to the Prom.
Did you see the dirigible, Steph?
There's a dirigible in Cincinnati? I saw you posted a link to a Romney dirigible in Natter, but FB wouldn't let me see the picture.
t edit
Hey, this IS Natter. I thought I was in Bitches. I cannot brane today.
Obama and Stevie Wonder are having a campaign event right now at the University of Cincinnati. It was kind of tempting, but then I remembered how much I hate crowds. Even for the POTUS and Stevie Wonder.
Yes, it was over Cincinnati. The photo caption is:
This just flew over my house while I was outside gardening. Swing State. It must be time to head over to the University of Cincinnati for the BARACK OBAMA Rally.
I'm really thinking it's time to break out the pitchforks in Florida and Ohio.

Gmail being glitchy for anyone else for the last hour? STABBY.
I kind of feel like there should be a general rule (not unlike with income taxes) that if the average voter has to wait more than 2 hours to vote, then some penalties need to accrue at the state level. If they do not have enough polling places/devices, etc. to accommodate the predicted number of voter turnout based on the previous major election cycle + population increase %, then penalties need to accrue.
So either that means an expansion of voting days OR expansion of mail in ballots. You aren't going to tell me that some of this suppression isn't also affecting GOP interests (perhaps only on a local level), but they would rather hurt themselves than serve the population
I'm going to step away from politics for awhile and see what I can do with this pumpkin. I leave you with big cats vs. pumpkins [link]
Well, I wasn't going to vote for the guy, but then I saw this dirigible...said no one, ever.
That's what we have now in California for state elections and I am not pleased, Liese.
Yeah, this would be for state level elections. But right now I've got third party candidates actually on the ballot all the way down to local government. And I damn well want it to continue that way. Sure, as a registered independent I can't vote in the primaries, but that's fine with me.
I'm in a new to me portion of the hospital! It's something between the ER and the observation unit. Which means new nurses, and mine is an Android-slut, so we talked Asus Transformers and the limitations and strong points of various OSes, as well as web sites with...useful stuff.
Why am I here? Because the ER wouldn't follow protocol, not even the wrong one. I didn't get one recommended dose, never mind the 2 or 3 that it would take to work. Guess what? The doctor hadn't even realised THERE WAS A SPECIFIED REGIMEN. Until the last dose, at which point he did up the dilaudid, but it was too late, and a bit too little to boot.
Silliness.
Anyway, that's my Sunday.
My poor sister. Due to my general embargo on political discussion (like, with parties involved, not rights, etc) she functioned as my only outlet during my first election ever.
She seems to care less about condoms in porn and more about GMO labelling than I do. Neither of which ostensibly have to do with parties, but they're right there next to party stuff.
Question (in the not having watched Schoolhouse Rock way): if I wanted a proposition voted on, what would I have to do to make it happen? I mean, who do I need to be, how much money do I need to have, how much do I need to spend, etc?
