It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

So my tumblr timeline makes me think that this guy I went to drama school with is now on Supernatural? His name is Ty Olsen. (That's not spoilery, is it?)

Because books.

He is, Sue! And he actually was briefly in S3, too.

I just IMDB'd him and he's been working a lot. Good for him. He was a year below me, but I think we were on a crew together at one point. I remember him as being intimidating looking, but actually being quite sweet and quiet.

God, it's been 18 years since drama school. t /old

He's doing a really thick Louisiana accent for this role, too, which is sexy except I've had a little trouble understanding him.

I haven't watched supernatural since S. 4 or 5? I am very out of the loop.

His character is really interesting this season. Before that he played the bartender/vampire in the S2 episode Bloodlust (the one with Amber Benson as Lenore).

Thrive to spite them

I read yesterday that the line at the courthouse in Tallahassee was out the door, down the street, and around the block. I think around 2 corners.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, I'm half-German and I don't give a fuck. Or maybe that's the Finn in me.

Go Team (half) Finn! If ou don't mind me asking is there a Yooper connection?

Nope. Finnish side of the family settled near Alexandria, MN. German side settled in central Wisconsin.

Eta: wait, I think my great grandfather on the Finnish side worked in a mine in the UP to get enough money to bring his family over from Finland.

My granddad worked in a UP mine for a while to support his Finnish immigrant family.

Hmmmm. Now I want a pastie and a sauna.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OK, feeling like a doof, but...

In Word 2010, I need that bar at the top of the screen to show up so I can fix some formatting stuff and I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO CALL IT UP. Or what it's called.

I've used it a million times, and I am memfaulting like crazy! I've Googled - no love - and now am in need of hivemind-fu, please?
