Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

You have back legs? Or just one?

See, whereas I was wondering where her front legs were...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am the last person in line at this early voting location. When they closed the doors they joked that I'd get a prize. I think they decided on 50,000 rubles. I've been here for an hour and I'm wishing I'd brought coffee and a Luna bar.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So I'm on twitter and John Kerry has been talking mad shit about Romney. Funny though. Today's latest:

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm wishing My phone was fully charged when I started. Luckily there are bathrooms.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Until a confusion in the fic I just read, I hadn't actually realised that "patron" was one of those words--what are they called? That also mean their opposite? Like "cleave"? But not "raze"--that's just a false alarm.

It's weird the things you technically have the information for, but don't think of.

How long is the line for you, Aurelia? Where are you?

My phone still has plenty of life but my stomach is grumbling. There is a vending machine but I'm trying to resist. The dozen or so people ahead of me stopped following the line and parked themselves on some bleachers. It's an unruly looking line.

Something like 20 still ahead of me, I think. I'm at the Broadway armory.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm going to go old school and vote Tuesday. Will bring the kindle.

But I live right across the street so if there are long lines I can swing by with some donuts or something.
