I do not think these guys are big readers, plus I know at least one of them has an iPad.
I did put both the nano and iTouch on the over $100 list.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

This is one of the weirder campaign ads I've seen. Don't vote for the other guy! He's got a bunch of degrees from well-known universities, and he eats corn dogs! [link]
Love the emergency radio suggestion. Myself I would appreciate an emergency kit, since I'm shopping them right now. The kind of thing everyone could use but doesn't want to invest in. Not terribly romantic though.
I get the Don't Vote for This Guy because he's an ENVIORNMENTALIST!!! and also likes the UN ! (which means he's probably in on Obama's plan to hand over control of the US to the UN and ban all cars and stuff).
Whereas Our Chick stayed home and did respectable womnaly things.
I don't get the corn dog and drinking except maybe they were looking for some hookers and blow level dirt and that's the best they could come up with.
(Not just turn over the US to the UN but eat Corn Dogs and have a Jagger luge and scoff from his throne that the UN will give him!)
Or something.

Mostly, "Does this mean that I'll have to trip over extension cords and figure out how to walk around camera crews and reporters when I'm trying to get to class again?" I really don't know enough of the details to have any other opinion.
AD, AH and family - in theme costumes. . ..
Ah, Daddy seahorse with baby in a pouch! Is my interpretation, anyway.
Also, there are people who are responding to pretty much every article in the local paper about something going wrong with, "Joe should have done more." Latest one where I noticed this was an article today about a sinkhole that just opened up on campus. This stopped being funny several months ago.
So the Gawker sites went to tumblr as their backups. This is...this is kinda laughable, honestly. I'm pretty sure they can't meet their commitments to their advertisers with a platform so different from their normal one, and one chosen so late.
They're ridiculously slow, and it's not like Tumblr is known for its stellar uptime itself. There's no easy way to do what many of the stalwarts want to do--discuss the articles with the other stalwarts. I'm not even seeing that their formats make it easy to reblog, and they haven't (thankfully) instituted the Disqus commenting system.
Right now, when I click on anything, I get the spinning wheel and a State Farm interstitial. Maybe they are making their commitments after all.
Their business model continues to amaze and amuse.
