they are adorable.
OK, I've lost faith in Nate Silver:
We don’t usually print this number, because it would sew confusion: our estimate of the national popular vote, which we do publish, instead represents a combination of national polls and the implied standing of the candidates based on state polls.
"Sew confusion"? On second thought, that's kind of cute.
I need to come up with some gift ideas for my boss. Gifts are for his Direct Reports, budget is $100 each. The have done digital frames and last year a non i-pad tablet, I think.
It's so quiet in here.
Can I take ibuprofen if I've already taken sinus stuff with tylenol in it? My sinuses are trying to kill me today.

Yes.
Hi all. Commute this morning was only 2 hours, mainly because of the new HOV rules (you can't go into Manhattan with less than 3 people in the car). However, since the HOV rules only apply during morning rush hour, I expect the afternoon commute will take 4-5 hours just like it did during the transit strike.
Here's how to make yourself feel old - start up a conversation with a co-worker about how you got back and forth to work during the transit strike (i.e. the last time there was no subway service) and have him respond with "Yeah, it took me 3 or 4 hours to get home from school that week." Realize he's talking about HIGH SCHOOL and you're talking about commuting from the same job you still have today.
I'm pretty sure yes, if tylenol was the only pain killer in it. When I last asked, Buffista pharmacists told me that Tylenol is an analgesiac(sp) while ipubuferin s NSAID, so they can safely be taken together. Again assuming the sinus stuff had Tylenol as the only pain reliever.
Ugh, Jessica.
Thanks, Hil and Typo. Anything to make my face stop hurting.

OK, but your coworker is legit a baby, though, right? I mean the transit strike was, what, five years ago? six? or..... seven.
I had to yell at a coworker on Tuesday that he wasn't old enough to remember Hurricane Gloria, which must be literally true.
